I Think My Summer Mission Was Somewhat Accomplished?

This year was a pretty enjoyable summer…

Summer is short, especially in Canada, and once again it’s nearing an end. This year I tried again to set out a few summer missions for myself, but the main one was to try and slim down my currently watching list. I love starting a new anime series and I tried to restrain from doing that throughout the summer, except for picking up some new titles from the summer anime season. I caved in and started from past seasons 4 new anime series, but out of those four I still completed 3 of them, so it wasn’t all that bad. I started watching some movies and specials too, but those don’t really count to the grand scheme of things.

Anyway, I’m not sure if I can really say that I did a good job at completing my mission. I started off with 41 currently watching series and now I only have 34, but the reason why this still seems large is because I am currently watching 13 series that are still airing. With that said, once this season is over, I think only one series will get carried on and my list will be cut down once again to just 22 series. I’d say that’s progress!

So I may have not completely cleared my list, but I managed to cut it in half, which I think is enough to give myself a pat on the back. In total, not counting anime movies, OVAs, ONAs and Specials, I managed to complete 21 series! I started this mission on June 20th and ended it August 25th….not too bad for a span on two moths and a little bit. I kept track of all that I watched, there are a few reviews I’m in the middle of writing for some of the complete series, so expect some of that soon.
